Kristofferson has Alzheimer Disease

In an interview between talk show host Halli Casser-Jayne and Jim Brown, the producer of ‘The Highwaymen – Friends till the End,” documentary, the 4 time Emmy winning producer revealed that Kris Kristofferson has Alzheimer Disease.

The revelation that Kristofferson has Alzheimer Disease can be heard on The Halli Casser-Jayne  podcast audio interview at approximately 26 minutes into the interview.

There have been varied reports in the past concerning Kristofferson’s health. He has alluded to “memory loss” in previous interviews but Brown’s revelation on The Halli Casser-Jayne Show is the first to name Kristofferson’s ailment as Kristofferson has Alzhemier Disease.

Attempts to verify Brown’s assertion with Kristofferson’s team went unanswered.

Longtime journalist Halli Casser-Jayne, host of the show of the same name is not new to journalism. War correspondent, documentary producer, and radio host also worked with Door’s drummer John Densmore on his bestselling autobiography, RIDERS ON THE STORM.

Halli’s premier show is aired on multiple podcast networks. A veteran journalist, Casser-Jayne was one of the early podcasters and is considered one of the best at her craft.  Frequent guest and political editor for Newsweek magazine, Matt Cooper said: “The Halli Casser-Jayne show is pure joy—smart, interesting talk with a great host. “I am a longtime fan of Kristofferson’s, and my jaw almost dropped at Brown’s revelation. We have to find a cure for Alzheimer’s,” Casser-Jayne says. We’re losing too many great minds and talents to The Long Goodbye.” It was recently revealed the Glenn Campbell is also battling the disease.
