Country Rocker Gig Michaels fights for life in North Carolina Hospital

Gig Michaels, who is the larger than life lead singer of the country rock band Swamp da Wamp is currently in ICU in a North Carolina Hospital battling pneumonia. His family provided information regarding this illness but would also like to request privacy at this time while they deal with Michael’s medical crisis.  They are going to be giving periodic updates and will report it to Swamp da Wamp’s publicist, ITS Promotions, so Gig’s friends and fans can be informed as events take place and his status changes.
