Heartbreak abounds in Salem

MARLENA GOODBYES

One by one the loved ones of Marlena stepped up to her bedside and said their farewells.  While most were touching goodbyes, the goodbye that got the tears flowing in the lunch room were that of Sami portrayed by Alison Sweeney.
Especially when she put her head down on Marlena belly and called her Mommy.  That was about all the lunch crew could take.  Alison reminded us why she is so missed and such a strong actress.

SAMI, SAMI, SAMI!!

It’s all about Sami and Hope just can’t stand it.  Rafe does not seem to be able to say NO to Sami. He never could.  On top of that, Rafe knows how desperate Hope was to get rid of Ben.  Because of that, Rafe believes Ben when Ben tells him that Hope set him up. After all, Rafe knows Hope thinks he is above the law. He has seen it first hand.

CIARA, TRIPP, CLAIRE AND BEN

The more Ciara defends Ben, the closer Claire and Tripp become.  Tripp is done understanding Ciara’s defense of Ben.  Claire and Tripp kiss and Ciara walks in on it.  Shawn is suspicious of his mother.

HATTIE TO THE RESCUE

More crazy moves take place in that hospital in Salem than anywhere else.  To save Marlena’s life, Kayla, John and Roman get Marlena to a safe place on life support.  Hattie steps in to pretend she is Marlena waking up out of her coma and no longer needing a respirator.  Didn’t anybody else find it strange that John went off to pray as Kayla said she was going to go turn the monitors off?  The Daily Banner lunch crew did.

GABI & ABIGAIL DRAMA AHEAD

Gabi wants Abigail out of the way. Some might say she is losing her mind.  She drugs Abigail.  In the meantime, Chad is planning a picnic for his wife and son.  Is Chad really  thinking about getting back together with Abigail?  Will Gabi let it happen?  Not likely.  Chad finds his wife unconscious and discovers how much he still loves her and can’t live without her.

Shelia, Eli and Lani

Sheila is back and has her sights set on Eli.  Lani has been trying to decide how she really feels about him.

Hattie is out of control

People that know Hattie know that she really can’t be controlled. John finds this out the hard way.  Hattie gives both Sami and Bella a hard time about being bad daughters.  Hattie can’t control her love for Roman. Nothing has changed there.

Chloe, Lucas and Bonnie
