What were you thinking when all this went down today?

We thought it would be fun to review the soap while it was actually airing live.  With that you will get my knee jerk reactions to just about every scene unless that scene is really boring. Michael and Willow’s wedding

Well Avery and Donna are just totally adorable.  Nobody can deny that. Willow looks gorgeous with some makeup on. Carly is busy kissing up to Willow.

Michael and Sonny seem to be getting along. Jumbo baby Amelia (where did that name come from) looks adorable. Willow is worried that her wedding is the last big event in her life.

Family photos are being taken everywhere.  Sonny poses with Kristina, Michael and Dante with Dante and Kristina being is only two soap opera children.  Michael is a step son and I always think that people forget that. He made AJ give up Michael so he could adopt him. That is never anything AJ wanted to do. A few years ago when Michael chose to use the Quartermaine name I was thrilled. I was not thrilled when he took back the gangster name.

Keep in mind, this statement is coming from a huge Sonny fan. However, I think that right is right and wrong is wrong.  All Michael has ever really been to Sonny is a step son and it should be left at that. Steps can have great relationships with their kids and they can love each other as much as bio parents.  Joss didn’t want to be in a photo with Sonny.  Molly is worried about her medical condition and big sister Sam is picking up on something being wrong with her.

Sam brings up Jason to Michael. I found that weird. Sam was not the last women in Jason’s life. Shouldn’t it have been Carly that brought up Jason to Michael?  Oh yeah, she couldn’t because she has been busy playing mother of the bride rather than mother of the groom.

All the children involved in this wedding were precious.  That begs the question, where was Leo. It was happening in his house and he was nowhere to be found. Wait, what, SAM got ordained? Willow walks down the aisle with Carly’s help. She really looks beautiful which shows us all that she could have been putting on makeup daily and not looked like death was coming for her any minute. Hurry up Sam, this woman could collapse at any moment. Now Joss is reading Shakespeare…. Oh jeez, now Ned is singing…Someone get this woman her wheelchair.

Nina and Ava

It seems the only other scenes happening today is the conversation between Nina and Ava. Ava actually told Nina that she is teetering on alternative facts. Nina wants Carly to pay for her crimes.  Ava tells her that if she sends Carly to prison, it will be Nina paying for it and she is right.  Everyone will turn on Nina including Sonny.  That will mean that Donna will be without her mother.  That will really upset Sonny. Is it possible that Nina thinks that Sonny is so invested in them that he would be okay with her sending his ex-wife and the mother of 2 of his children to prison (one living, one dead.) Nina seems to forget that Carly and Sonny have a very long history.  Ava wants Nina to admit that she wants revenge. No Nina, Sonny will not understand.

Willow’s Ex-husband Chase is sitting in a chair listening to her proclaim her love for him and the camera’s didn’t even pass by Chase. I found that odd. Did you find that odd?

Tracey critiques the wedding

Tracey makes fun of Olivia’s food prep and Maxie is losing her mind like all wedding planners.  This is a fabulous looking wedding with only one day notice. I am so thrilled that Tracey is back. Her blunt comments and back to reality sarcasm is refreshing.

Tracey continues to put her foot in her mouth as the day goes on.

Carly and Willow have a very nice conversation about living in the moment.  But we all really need to do that more in real life. Tomorrow is not promised to anyone. Nina is right about Carly playing mother of the bride.

In Conclusion

I have to admit to a feeling of happiness when the SEC FEDS arrived at the end of the wedding looking for Drew and Carly.  In addition, insider trading is a real crime and Carly committed it, even if she failed at it, the crime was still committed.
