Glen Campbell’s Memories are gone
A song sung by Glen makes Kim Campbell ponder its meaning as it relates to their lives together. This is what she says in her blog post regarding Glen:
Now that Glen is in the late stages of Alzheimer’s, hearing him say the past is gone seems very profound. The past is certainly gone for Glen. It’s sad that we can no longer share our memories and that I must do the remembering alone.
This is the song Campbell was referring to in her blog post.

FAMILY HEALING from Australia to America:
After a summer of separation and homelessness because of a horrific attack on my daughters home and family, I am trying to raise funds to bring them home for a much needed vacation of healing. I have not seen my 6 year old granddaughter since she was 1. I can’t travel to Australia because my husband has medical issues. Them coming here is the only way we will see them. I started this Go Fund Me to help with the extraordinary expense. I have been saving for over 1 year and at this rate, it will be several more years until I see them. With your help I hope to have them here for Ashlee’s 16th birthday in October of 2017.

I lost my Dad to Alzheimers two years ago. What a dreadful condition that robs the victim and their family of the person they were. We grieved from the moment he got Alzheimers until the day he died. – and death was such a relief for our family, knowing that he no longer had to suffer. All my love and prayers to Glen’s family XX
By the time I get to phoenix, will live with me till the end of time, my dad loved this song, it reminds me of my mum and dads break up and my dad moving abroad to work. God bless Glenn Campbell x

Sending prayers to Glen Campbell, family and friends. I’m so lost for words. Glen Campbell is such a wonderful man. I’ve been a fan of his since I was little. Growing up my mother Absolutely loved Glen, she played his music all the time. My younger brother met Glen in Florida. He had a job setting everything up, as he was setting up before Glen went on stage he walked right by my bother. He ran to the pay phone and called my mother telling her “Mom I’m standing right by Glen Campbell ” Shelley asked my brother to ask Glen if he had his bag pipes Glen looked and my brother with that Beautiful smile and said yes I do. My brother was so lost for words, but that was the happiest day of his life. Glen was and always was the nicest man. May God Bless his Beautiful wife and there children for staying right by her husband and there father. I’m so sorry this has happened to such a loving and caring man. Glen Campbell’s music will live on through the hearts of all his fans. H8s last song he sang “I’m Not Going To Miss You ” Very heart breaking. May the Lord help Glen and his Absolutely Loving Family.
