Happy Anniversary to General Hospitals Maurice Benard and his Beautiful Wife Paula Smith Benard

Maurice Benard has played Sonny Corinthos on General Hospital for over 30 years.  During that time Sonny has had a lot of love interests and racked up quite a few marriages. The same can’t be said for Maurice.  He was lucky enough to find Paula, the love of his life and marry her on the 11^th of August 1990. Today Maurice and Paula celebrate 33 years of marriage which is no small feat these days. That alone is a testament to the strength, love and commitment of these two beautiful souls to each other. Together Maurice and Paula share four gorgeous children, three daughters and one son. Through the years Maurice has talked about his love and dedication to his family and you can tell how deep and true that is every time he mentions them. His face lights up when he talks about them, he even still blushes like a school boy when talking about his wife Paula. Looking at pictures Maurice has shared through the years of him and Paula you can feel the love overflowing.

Together they can do anything

These two have always made a beautiful couple and together they created an equally beautiful family. For all the joy, entertainment and love that Maurice has brought to our homes through the years as Sonny Corinthos on General Hospital we are delighted that Maurice has the wonderful family and community around him that he does.

Family is everything

Marriage is a gift. In addition, everyday we get to spend surrounded by our family and friends is also a gift.  Every additional year of marriage with the person you love is something to be celebrated.
