JD Shelburne is Straight from Kentucky
Sometimes you talk to someone and you just know that they have IT. Not only do they have IT but they are so much more than what you expected. That happened when I spoke to JD Shelburne. We spoke on the record and went off the record for so much more. Unfortunately, I can’t tell you the OFF THE RECORD stuff but if everything happens as it should, one day you will know what the OFF THE RECORD may have been. Read on for more on our JD Shelburne Exclusive: Straight from Kentucky.
Country Radio Seminar
The original purpose of this interview was to talk about JS attending CRS 22 in Nashville. This is to be his 3rd time. Country Radio Seminar is an annual event that brings new, current and established country artists together with Country Radio personalities. It is a wonderful event. However, as a journalist, I found attending this event and trying to get all the interviews in and published timely was almost impossible. So I decided to start the interviews 2-3 weeks before the event and then the interviews would be available during CRS week which is February 23rd through February 25th. It is a fast paced – fun filled event that is a great networking tool for artists. If you want to check out the CRS agenda this year, you can go to their website here.
Hair Do’s and Highlights
JD Shelburne Exclusive: Straight from Kentucky
I always try and ask questions that nobody else asks. When you watch the interview here, you will see that asked JD about his hair and what hair styles are who’s decision. I also ask about his celebrity crushes and tells me them, both when he was a young boy just discovering girls and his continued crush currently. I should have asked him about hall passes but I digress! Anyhow, females from TV shows Full House and Friends should be interested in this answer. We talk about his album “Straight From Kentucky,” and his two singles out right now, Hometown in My Headlights and Church Pew Bar Stool. This singer songwriter has a lot to say about just about everything and putting it to music is the way he expresses his thoughts. Here are some current highlights in JD’s career.
