Joey and Rory ACM and Grammy nominations come at a time when they are most needed and most deserved.  The question and what everyone is praying for is that Joey Feek lives long enough to see the award shows on TV.

She is very frail and won’t be able to attend but she could certainly view them from her hospital bed at home in Indiana where they have been living since she elected to stop treatment for cancer this past October.

At this time Feek is very thin and frail and living every moment to its fullest growing seedlings in egg shells getting her plants ready for a spring time planting that she herself might not see.

Feek has always known what is important in life as her husband Rory shares these moments with the world through his blog.  There is song the Feeks wrote and recorded.  It really sums up Joey and how she feels about life and what is really important.

The couple has been nominated by the Academy of Country Music Award for “Vocal Duo of the Year,” up against Brother’s Osborne, Dan + Shay, Florida Georgia Line and Maddie + Tae. Last month it was announced that the couple have also been nominated for a Grammy.

Living until February 17, Indiana’s 2nd birthday is a goal for Joey.  Their new album, “Hymns that are Important to Us,” is being released on February 14 and the Grammy’s are on February 15th, 2016.  The ACM’S  are scheduled for April 3rd and seeing one more spring would mean so much to Joey!!
