Joey Feek Home Hospice
Home Hospice has been arranged for Joey Feek after she spent the weekend in an Indiana Hospital because of pain from her growing tumors.
Last month the doctors told Joey & Rory (You can Duet Stars) that the cancer was very aggressive and that what they were currently doing wasn’t working. Joey decided to stop treatment all together and live out the rest of her days with her husband and family.
Joey gave birth to a beautiful baby girl they named Indiana last year. After Indy was born with Down Syndrome both mother and daughter underwent medical tests and around that time, Joey was diagnosed with cervical cancer. Somewhere between May 28, 2014 and June 25, 2014 Joey had a radical hysterectomy. She was given the all clear and told she wouldn’t need chemo or radiation.
Around June of 2015 Joey was told the cancer had come back and was in her colon. The family went to Cancer Treatment Centers of America for treatment.
In the third week of October the cancer treatments were stopped and after this weekend, the medical plan is to keep Joey as comfortable as possible as she gets ready to transition into her new life. In 2012, the couple recorded this song. In hindsight it would turn out to be quite prophetic.
Joey is ready and in peace says her husband Rory who has chronicled this journey on his blog, This Life I live.
Last Thursday a nation prayed for this woman and her family. Today the prayers are for peace and comfort for everyone that loves the Feek family.

Send her a heartfelt message through someone in her family that God still loves her knowing why she has an aggressive form of cancer. It wasn’t His Way nor His Plan, however, He shows us His Way to transition to Glory from the decaying life. His Promise Still Upholds in Yeshua’s Name!

This beyond tragic. I pray for comfort and peace for her and her family. I urge all women to get regular Pap smears.I am not saying that Joey didn’t…I don’t know…but I do know Pap smears done yearly detect cervical cancer early.

I lost a son to colon cancer 6/3/2011. He went through two cyber knife procedures for brain tumors, ten months of chemo and lived 14 months from diagnosis to death. He was my second born of three sons. Loving, caring, great parent but God took him. My prayers will be with you during this time.

Our hearts were torn apart when we just saw where Joey was being admitted to Hospice in Tenn. We were just watching them on Bill Gaither show. We loved their beautiful singing & played it over & over. Joey is beautiful inside & out. Our loss heavens gain.

I am so very saddened to hear of this news about Joey…..Her & Rory make such beautiful music together & you can tell they were meant to be soul mates here on earth , you can see & feel their love for each other as well as with their precious daughter now…. Knowing they are Christians & have God in their lives is a precious joy to know cause God will be enable them to get through each day from now until God decides it’s time for Joey to come home to Him….God will/is their peace right now & will be afterwards for Rory & Indy & all the family…..I know most people always ask “Why”? She’s so very young & beautiful & has her whole life ahead of her , why now ? Thing is we will never know why til we get to meet God on that special day… I do not know how I would react to such a health issue as this & I pray I never do, but I’ve had friends that have , & they find peace , inner peace within their hearts long before God calls them home… I pray this is what Joey is experiencing now…. When I walked into USF – MOFFETT cancer hospital earlier this week , the conversation everywhere pertained to Joey. Please know that the people of the Tampa Bay area are praying for you and won’t give up hope for you.

My prayers are with Joey and Rory and their family at this time , cancer is a horrible thing it’s plain old ugly , cervical cancer cells were discovered when I was pregnant with my son ,it’s been 12 yrs ago and it’s scary my cancer cells were gone I was on a prayer chain and I feel blessed and I feel God knows better then us why these things happen , I lost my mother seven yes ago . I know God has a plan for Joey and her husband and her children will have an angle looking after them . I know this brings no comfort to anyone I feel so better knowing God is on our side and our family waits for us until it’s our time . Joey and Rory I followed you since you started I just fell in love you two. Life seemed to just be yours and was growing in leaps and bounds. I have everything you have recorded. The Gaither DVD & CD’s were so touching. play the CD in my car. When I heard of your sickness I was concerned but I’m a born again christian so I prayed so many times. I watched you on. RFD.
