Leonard Nimoy of Star Trek dies. Nimoy, who was made famous by the TV show Star Trek has passed away at the age of 83 from end stage pulmonary disease. That is the sad news that The Daily Must report today.
Daily Banners Daily Observation is: on a personal level, the death of Leonard Nimoy marks the end of an era most especially for a whole generation of folks that watched the original Star Trek series in the late 1960’s. Then in the and through the 1970’s, the series made a resurgence after cancellation and was played daily on reruns. That kicked off a ½ century of science fiction conventions, fan clubs, TV series, and motion picture bonanzas. Because of all of that, being into science fiction is now a pretty cool thing when one time it was not.
On a very personal note, I can remember watching reruns of Star Trek during dinner time with my family. Many happy family meals occurred during episodes of Star Trek and the showed sparked discussions about what the future would be like as far as space travel, transporting and hand communication devices.
