Little River Band ROCKED the AMP

Little River Band rocked THE AMP last night, January 8, 2016, Pompano Beach, Florida.  They performed at the Pompano Beach Amphitheater with the band Player and Ambrosia kicking off the night. The weather held out as each band delivered a great performance.  The feedback coming in regarding the show is simply amazing.

The reason people are on their feet during a Little River Band concert is because it is absolutely impossible to stay seated.  The band performed “Cool Change,”  “Take It”Easy On Me,” “Reminiscing,” “Help is on it’s Way,” “Lonesome Loser,” “Man on your Mind,” “The Other Guy,” “The Night Owls,” “Lady,” and “Happy Anniversary,”  and delivered the music with such a groove and vibe it is impossible to sit still and not sing along.

In fact, Little River Band encourages you to sing along with the band, and just let the music and memories run through you.

With January 8, 2016 being the first show of the New Year, LRB certainly kicked off the New Year right.  Pompano Today had this to say about the night and LRB: “Perform,” was a vast understatement.  Same with “remarkable.” It was a revival, but not in the traditional sense of the word. No, it was a revival of many things: of fun (yes, he promised us fun, but this much fun? Wow.) It was a revival of the spirit-of the spirit of music, and of a big block party and of friendship.”

Seeing Little River Band live is so much more than just attending a concert.  It is living an experience.  The band especially lead singer and band leader Wayne Nelson who has been with the band for over 35 years totally interacts with the audience while connecting, drawing you in and making you truly feel like part of the night.  Nelson has a real gift for making every single audience member feel special and part of an event.
