Merle Haggard is hospitalized again

Country music icon Merle Haggard is again in the hospital in California. It appears that the singer has not fully recovered from his bout with double pneumonia.

Haggard initially postponed and /or cancelled some shows in December of 2015, January and February of this year. He returned to the stage on the 6^th of February in Las Vegas.

He had been in pain most of the fall season but finally on the 2^nd of December of 2015 it was too unbearable for him to continue so shows were cancelled.

Merle Haggard is hospitalized again and the doctors want to see the star remain off the road and resting for at least a month before he can have the opportunity to once again do what he does best. That means that all of his March show dates are going to be cancelled or rescheduled.

The cancellations also contained dates at the legendary home of country music, the Ryman auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee. Ticket sales sites have been slowly putting up the cancelled notices on their websites as the news of his continued health issues are given.

Updates, as they happen, should appear on Haggard’s official website. Fans can also keep abreast of the singer’s news on his many social media pages.

The singer is tentatively slated to resume his live touring in April when he is to join forces with another long time friend and fellow legend in the music industry, Willie Nelson. The first show for the pair is scheduled on April 7 in Cape Girardeau in the state of Missouri. Of course the show dates are all contingent on his health and the Doctors and Haggard himself will be the final decision makers.
