Not only is he still here, he has released a new album entitled, “Take Me As I Am.” The album has 10 songs on it. Each song on this album tells a story: The titled cut, “Take Me As I Am,” is a southern rock tune that’s title is self explanatory. The rest are as follows:
- Take Me As I Am: Southern Rock Tune about being accepted are you are;
- 298: This song is a tribute to the victims of the Malaysian Jet Crash;
- Cope: Learning to cope and adjusting with a different life after a stroke;
- Dashboard Jesus: Chronicles the struggle of a Veteran dealing with alcoholism;
- Dump Trump: A tongue in cheek song about the ridiculousness of Donald Trump;
- Summer Loving: Romance during the summertime;
- Human Race: Looks at the journey through the Covid Pandemic;
- Blue Skies: Reminds us all that things are going to get better;
- Dime Store Santa: What lies behind Santa’s smile is not always a happy story;
- Deep Water: Co-written with Greg’s good friend Kim Carerre who recently passed away from Pancreatic Cancer. Greg wanted to make sure that this song was released on a project that he could share with Kim’s family and friends.
