Seriously Bold & Beautiful
For months people have been wondering what Bold & Beautiful is doing. There was a time going back two months ago where it looked like B&B was going to get a lesbian story line going between Brooke and Taylor. There was a lot of speculation and backlash online and that hasn’t happened so far. Read on for more about so much to unpack about current Bold and Beautiful these days.
Ridge and Bill
On screen we all thought Bill has lost his damn mind. Off screen we are to believe that life long enemies Billy and Ridge were working together to trap Sheila. So when did that happen? When did they start to work together? Was it before both women told him to take a hike? Was it before it was discovered that Thomas had called CPS instead of Brooke? I guess we will never know. All we know is the character of Ridge disappeared for a few months and then we see him again with a man bun plus FBI agent and spy equipment. We are not going to say the dialog between Ridge and Bill wasn’t pleasant and at times funny. It was but just way to unbelievable.
Taylor and Brooke
So much to unpack about current Bold and Beautiful these days
Shortly after Ridge left to go find himself, Taylor and Brooke decided to be besties with pinky swears. They were hugging constantly and on quite a few occasions it looked as if they might kiss. If you think you were imagining that, you were not. The writers and powers that be may have been looking for viewer reaction. It seems that there might have enough backlash to stop that story-line. Sometimes writers like to shake things up by making main characters have a big change in lifestyle. On All My Children the writers made Erica Kanes daughter a lesbian. On Young and Restless they made Sharon’s daughter Mariah a lesbian as well. It is not like it has never happened.
Sheila and Jack
The latest head-scratch is the back story about Sheila and Jack. We actually did some research today to see if we could discover when and where Sheila might have worked in a law firm? No such history could be confirmed. The back story had been that Sheila had met Jack at work. We know Jacks soon to be Ex-wife is a doctor. We do believe we were told that both of Finn’s parents were doctors and he was following in their shoes. Now, all of a sudden Jack is some super duper trial attorney. It is obvious that the writers have changed Jack’s occupation so that he can be used in current and future story line helping Sheila get out of jail.

How are you feeling about all of this obvious re-writing of history to meet the story line? Why did they need to make Jack a lawyer? Couldn’t she have just been emailing him to try and rekindle their love affair and maybe he could buy her an attorney?
