Actions and words have consequences
As I write the first couple of words in this article the software that grades the writing says stop. I kid you not. It is telling me to dumb it down. This happens every time I write. If it is happening to me, I am sure it is happening to other journalists. This is what I consider one of the big problems that plaque our country today. ‘DUMBING IT DOWN,” hurts us all. However, that is another subject entirely. Meanwhile, we must talk about Trump and his obvious crimes against humanity.
Ignoring the Pandemic
Trumps first reflex was to ignore the pandemic. You have to truly wonder if he thought to himself, if I ignore it, maybe it will just go away like a herpes cold sore. Additionally, the Chinese leader told him this was “bad.” He pretended it was not. We know this because he told Bob Woodward this exact thing. Woodward has tapes of Trump saying he didn’t want to “panic America.” Woodwood brings it out in the open in his book entitled ‘RAGE.‘ It has been reported that Trump told others that the pandemic was bad for his re-election chances.
Covid Task Force Mishaps
It is generally believed that the Covid task force headed by VP Mike Pence tried to help. Their credibility was damaged by Trump. While the task force was trying to get the message about social distancing, hand washing and mask wearing out, Trump was acting against it. Secondly, he brought up ridiculous treatments like shining light into the body. Who could forget the most outrageous suggestion of ingesting bleach or disinfectant injections.
Trumps Covid diagnosis or Covid scam
As the virus continued, Trump encouraged states to open by tweets like “Liberate Michigan.” While the Governor of Michigan was trying to protect her people, Trump’s tweets enraged his followers. Michigan Militia showed up at the state building armed. In addition, a group of self proclaimed militia plotted to rape and kill the Governor. They were caught and arrested. Trump had a rally in Oklahoma amidst the Covid pandemic. A noted politician Herman Cain attended that rally and died of Covid less than 6 weeks later. It can’t be proven he caught it there. It also can’t be proven he didn’t get it there.
Other people that attended that rally caught Covid. There are tracing experts, statisticians and media that are attempting to discover how far and wide Covid spread as a result of these early rallies. What is known for sure is that the state saw record breaking Covid positive cases and hospitalizations as noted by TIME.
The rallies continued
The rallies continued and the cases continued to go up. It was discovered by the media in early October that Trumps assistant Hope Hicks tested positive. The administration tried to hide it but the news was leaked. That night and only after attending a rally in the Midwest and then a fund raiser in New Jersey, Trump told America he and the first lady tested positive. Most Americans waited to see if he would end up very sick from his diagnosis. It is well known he has some pre-existing conditions and he is in the high risk category being over weight and 74 years old.
He was admitted to Walter Reed after a dramatic ride by helicopter to the facility. His medical team never really clarified what exactly was going on with him. They admitted he had a fever, some slight issues with oxygen and some expected results via a CT Scan of his lungs. However, all of this could be explained by a simple case of bronchitis or regular viral or bacterial pneumonia. At the hospital he was given a steroid, Dexamethasone, and the antiviral Remdesivir.
Regular folks
Regular folks like you or I could get these same drugs. However, we would first be sent home to battle this virus alone until we were sick enough to be admitted to the hospital. Trump in fact got delivered to the White House the experimental monoclonal antibodies by Regeneron a day before he was admitted to the hospital. How this drug was available to him at the same time he was diagnosed remains a mystery. In addition, all these drugs have to be administered through IV. It is not as simple as popping a pill.
Many questions remained unanswered. What we do know is Trump emerged from the hospital victorious in his battled against Covid-19. He landed back at the White House via helicopter. He then ascended the stairs to the balcony where he ripped off his mask in dramatic fashion. In the short days to follow, he proclaimed his victory of Covid, told America it was not that bad and started up his rallies again. One has to to wonder if his alleged battle against Covid was created for optics? You know, I beat it so anybody can type of mindset? Additionally, because of Hippa, Americans may never know the truth. The rallies marched on.
Trump and his obvious crimes against humanity

Trump continued to hold the rallies. In fact, he doubled and quadrupled them leading up to the actual election on November 3rd, 2020. We are now seeing record number hospitalizations across the country. Instead of taking decisive action to get all the governors to mandate masks, he golfs. Make no mistake about this, there is blood on the hands of Donald Trump. He did not cause the pandemic but he sure worked hand in hand with it. In fact, Trump aided and facilitated it’s tour across the United States.
He denies he lost the election and will continue to hype up his supporters to rally. Many will catch Covid and get very ill. Some will die but Donald Trump will go on.
He will move out of the White House on January 20th because he LOST the election. Joe Biden will move in and try to save the country from itself. It is a tall order. Additionally, President Elect Biden will need America’s prays and cooperation.

He most definitely needs to face the consequences of his actions or lack there of. He risked the lives of not only his supporters but also the people in his administration.
Yes I do believe that Trump needs to be held accountable for his ignoring the warning of the Covid-19 calling it a hoax or that it would disappear. Had he taken action early on, thousands of folks would still be alive and we would not be into isolation going on nine months. He should be charged with dereliction of duty and negligent homicide in his failed leadership of the Pandemic.
I think Trump never had the virus. He was doing a Ronald Reagan (assassination attempt) to get the sympathy vote. But either it backfired on him or he would have lost by even more. What scares me most now is his refusal to work with the Biden camp for a successful transition of power and to do as much harm as he can. I have no doubt that he’s the least patriotic person in this country. Let’s hope he gets what he deserves. Prison.
I think he faked having the virus too, they never showed or mentioned melania, either. He was faking as usual. He needs to have responsibility, for his hate crimes, spreading propaganda, stealing from taxpayers for his own
He should be prosecuted, his child separation policy is also a crime against humanity. But the USA is too fractured, too weak, too effete. It will be argued that prosecutingvz President and binding them accountable for their actions weakens the position, undermines the dignity of the office, and may stop their hand when decisive action is needed.
I’d go further, I’d say he, and others in his inner circle, are guilty of seditious conspiracy and treason. They should face prosecution at jeopardy of the death sentence.
But nothing will happen, there will be hand wringing, rending of cloth, but no action whatsoever. The overall direction of the US won’t change, it will continue to serve the interests of the ultra rich at the expense of society, you’ll keep shooting one another, and a new fascist demagogue will arise from the ashes of the Republican Party.
You don’t really have much option, all the power rests with the rich. They decide what’s happening, you get to live with it.
He should be held accountable, but as with his numerous criminal and civil actions he faces once out of the white house, I believe that he will be either acquitted or, at worst, found guilty with a minimal time suspended sentence.
