First of all, Willie Nelson is a national treasure. This past week it was announced that Willie Nelson would perform a concert in support of Beto O’Rourke.  Beto happens to be Ted Cruz’s adversary in Texas.  It is being said that many of Willie’s red state fans are upset with him.  Read on about how Willie Nelson continues to do it My Way infuriating some fans.

Willie just doesn’t care

On ‘The View,’ this morning, when asked about upsetting his fans, Willie matter of factly stated,

“I just don’t care.”

Seems like that is probably the coolest thing any music artist ever said.   At 85 Willie doesn’t have to care.  He went on to further state that that,

“I am allowed my own opinion just like everybody else.”

Nelson doesn’t understand why it is such a shock to his fans because he has always supported Democrats. Likewise Willie has never made that a secret.
