While It Was Happening

Today’s “While It was Happening,” is a blast. We thought it would be fun to review the soap while it was actually airing live.  With that you will get my knee jerk reactions to just about every scene unless that scene is really boring. If you like warm and cozy, you should probably stop reading now. Read on for Young and Restless first day of May while it was happening.

Ashley and Tucker

Young and Restless is kicking off today’s episode with Ashley and Tucker.  The other day Eileen was on State of Mind with Maurice Benard and she discussed how much she likes working with Trevor St. John. There is no denying the chemistry these two have. She also mentioned that the powers that be are letting them have some input on what they say and how they say it. At lunch Tucker says to Ashley, “You’re in a Mood.”  They are heading up to Tucker’s sweet. Michael says, “You could have sold tickets to that,” while watching Tucker and Ashley making out at Society. Who is writing this show right now?  Is there a new comic writer?

Elena and Audra

Elena meets Audra for breakfast and is so totally in the dark about what is really going on. Audra is getting ready to spill the beans. Oh silly Elena, don’t be so trusting. Do you remember Nate telling Elena he was going to LA alone? I don’t remember that, was it off screen?  Anyhow, now Elena knows that Nate is with Victoria.  Okay, so I must have missed when Elena asked him point blank. Elena offers that she wanted to tag along. Wow, “I can only imagine the things she will be teaching him.” Audra, STOP!!!

Man, doesn’t she see the pain she is causing? Yes, she does. That is why she is doing it. I really thought she might go the “Victoria is sexually harassing Nate,” but no, she is just calling Nate a jerk. Her boss and her bosses boss, to what end? What does all this gossiping get her?  I see it getting her fired.  Does she want to get fired so she can claim a WRONGFUL TERMINATION SUIT or that she fired in RETALIATION?  What is her end game? Audra is now calling Nate a “Cheating Liar.” Now Audra wants Elena to STEP BACK. The trust is gone now Nate, the trust is gone. You are not an idiot Elena. No, you are not a victim. Audra, what are you doing? Elena is going for the jugular on Victoria.  Go find JT girl….Victoria deserves it and more.

Tucker and Jack

What is the meaning of LIFE?  That was pretty funny.  Trevor (Tucker) has great timing. Tucker sitting there with his hair up in the air is adorable.  Wow, Jack tells Tucker that Ashley only asked him to move in there to make her life hell. Jack thinks his sister is so easily manipulated that she has fallen for his spell once again.  Jack really believes that Diane has paid her dues. Tucker says he is “not a morning person.”  Jack warns Tucker to never hurt his sister again. It is sweet how he is actually worried about his sister.   Tucker is priceless.  “We should do this more often, I feel like we bonded.”

Billy and Ashley

Billy is trying to set his sister straight about how she is talking around work. Ashley is saying she is really worried about what the Jack and Diane show does to change the company completely. Is she justified in being this worried?  Ashley is worried much more than she should be. Billy you are right, Ashley is overreacting.  Yeah BILLY!!  You have caught on. Ashley is as obsessed with Diane almost as much as Phyllis IS. Make no mistake about this; Phyllis is still obsessed with Diane.

Nate and Victoria

Look at Victoria pretending that this is all about business. The way she flirts with him is ridiculous. She sits way to close to him all the time. Both these actors look like they just woke up in these scenes with slightly puffy eyes. They must have filmed this scene first thing in the morning. Nate making the age old claim, “Nobody knows what drives me.”  That would be of course EXCEPT VICTORIA who is trying to get his pants off. “I don’t need to pay attention, I’ve got you.” Her father would be so disappointed if he were listening to this conversation. I knew she was going to get him in her room and there they go.  There they go hitting the sheets.

Jack and Michael

Michael tells Jack they are still waiting for Jeremy’s cause of death. Michael lays it all out for Jack and says they have to investigate the hell out of Stark. They have tried forensic accountant and Michael has hope they might get something from it. Michael doesn’t think they can legally subpoena Starks phone records. They may do that under the table. Do it Michael, get info on Stark to help get Diane out of jail. I can’t believe that I am rooting for Diane to get out of jail but I am.  I really like Michael as a silver fox.  You have to know it is so much easier to be natural than dying that hair all the time.  Yes Jack, you have to use all your energy to save Diane.
