Wrap Up

We look at what happened last week and it is not a surprised to any of the long time viewers of soap operas in general.  You didn’t have to be a rocket scientist to know that Ashland was faking cancer. They never let us know on screen that Ashland was faking.  However, they didn’t show us he had cancer.  Read on for more about this Young and Restless Spoilers and wrap up of March 6.

Faking Cancer

Throughout the entire cancer story line, anybody with cancer or who knows somebody how had cancer was screaming from their couches, “HE DOES NOT HAVE CANCER.”  I know I was screaming just that as I lived through cancer treatments with my husband. He went to chemo once a week and daily to radiation treatments Monday through Friday.

We never saw Ashland go to chemo and they never spoke of radiation. Now, not everyone gets both but it wasn’t even mentioned as a possible treatment.  We never saw Ashland have an appointment with any kind of a doctor and he never let anybody including Victoria go with him.  Another big hint was Ashland driving himself. He never said his driver was taking him and it is an absolute no no to drive after hours long chemo treatment.  They just don’t let you do it. You have to have someone drive you or you don’t get chemo.

Are the writers even aware that this story line has been awful from real cancer survivors or for the people that lost loved ones to cancer. This story line has been a slap in the face for those people.

Cancer scam

1. Never had anyone go to doctors appointments with him;
2. Was able to function after cancer treatments;
3. Drove his own vehicle after cancer treatments which medical professionals don’t allow.

Next week on Young and Restless

We will see Jack and Phyllis grow closer together at first in friendship.  Romance can’t be far behind when it comes to Jack and Phyllis. Nick and Sharon will grow closer as they worry about Noah.  Rey and Chelsea can’t seem to stay away from each other. Victor realizes that Victoria’s husband doesn’t care what Victor wants.  Will this result in a who done it murder story line?

Devon continues to consider his sisters offer while Lily puts the pressure on him.  Why this merger and why so soon? Shouldn’t Lily get used to running a world wide corporation for like a month before attempting a merger like this? Could Devon be thinking silently “she killed my wife and baby and now she wants my company?” This story line is ridiculous and Jill would never endorse this so soon. However, a normal human being would be thinking about the fact that their sibling caused the death of their wife and baby. That is only normal and natural.

In Conclusion
